Anyone interested in doing some Geocaching? I'm planning on visiting some of the caches nearby to the Convention Center, as well as dropping some Drupal related Travel Bugs!

It would be about a 90 minute walk, with geocaching vets and newbies alike welcome. I'm thinking Monday afternoon. Contact me at trevor@digilynx.com if you're interested.

Local kickboxing/sport karate club

I train 3 times a week normally in sport karate and kickboxing (both WKC rules). Does anyone know of any clubs around the city centre that are happy for people to drop in. Ideally I would like to get in a couple of sessions, but trying to decide if I should bring any gear down with me.

Hey, I've gotten into playing disc golf lately (at Morley Field in San Diego) and I know some Drupal friends would love to play up in Portland too.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a fun course or even tournament to play during Drupalcon? I've only been playing a few months, so no pro events please :) Something near-ish the convention would be nice of course.

One of the things I am looking forward most about Drupalcon Portland is the chance to finally go to the world famous VooDoo Doughnuts!

They have two locations in Portland, either one just a short walk from the convention center. (although I hear one of them is the "touristy" one with long lines).

Guided Bike Tour of Historic Downtown Portland, Compliments of DPCI

Hi All,

DPCI has organized a guided tour of historic downtown PDX, by bike! This will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis to people coming in Monday, May 20th. We'll start out at noon from a location near the convention center. The 3 hour ride will be an easy, fun one where we'll stop at different points of interest as the guides tell us about their beautiful, VERY bike-friendly city.
