The Tao of Project Management (It's Not About the Tools)
Drupal loves to talk about tools. They’re something you can touch, see, use, and wield. However, much like a sword, tools can be ineffective or even dangerous in the wrong hands. It’s great that we practice our technique with these tools at Drupal gatherings, but we often neglect the deeper mentality and preparedness of successful project management.
Rather than honing your skills with a blade, this session will help you walk the path of a successful project manager. We’ll talk about the skillset, knowledge, and traits of a project manager, the formal and informal methods of project management practice, and how to develop the right processes for your organization’s needs.

Sounds interesting, but potentially quite similar to http://portland2013.drupal.org/node/3323 - perhaps join forces?
disclaimer of my personal bias.

@rcross I think we're focused on the steps to take to get to a process. We get into some specific strategies, but it's more focused on creating a list of attributes for successful PMs and successful processes.
