Heading to PDX for DrupalCon? Start your week off right by giving back to someone who has given a lot to the Drupal community! Join us on Monday, May 20th at 4pm as we raise a glass and funds for Aaron Winborn - a long time Drupal contributor who has been battling late stage ALS. Aaron has been one of the most selfless givers in the Drupal community, patiently helping all sorts of users from Newbies to Ninjas. In his honor, a unique trust has been set up that allows Aaron and his family to use funds contributed by outside sources, while protecting his eligibility to receive care-giving assistance through the state. The funds can be used to support Aaron's needs beyond what he will eventually receive from Medicare/Medicaid. So stop by EcoTrust for local microbrews and tasty treats to celebrate Aaron, catch up with old friends, and kick off DrupalCon!
