Windows Azure is a cloud platform developed by microsoft to run opensource projects including Drupal. It has three business models, Web Hosting, Platform as a Service(PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service(IaaS) and Drupal is running in any of the these services.

This session will discuss and demo how to run drupa on windows azure environment and azure sql(a cloud-base relational database service that is built on SQL Server technologies, and runs in microsoft datacenter around the globe.)

Will give emphasis on these:
1. Will demo how to use windows azure management platform.
a. How to create a virtual machine
b. How to create cloud service
c. How to create cloud storage
2. Modules needed to run drupal on windows azure including Damien Tournoud's Azure Integration module
3. How to store files, images and media on Azure's geographically distributed storage platform.
4. How to deploy drupal on cloud services via *nix terminal consoles using scaffolding.
