Frequently Asked Questions
What's included in the cost of a DrupalCon ticket?
Registration for DrupalCon gives you full conference access Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and entry to the code sprint on Friday. Attendees receive lunch and coffee breaks each day, a commemorative DrupalCon t-shirt, and access to the Exhibit Hall. We are excited to also provide a free transit pass for the duration of the conference to any DrupalCon attendee who wants to claim one.
My organization requires that I pay for my registration with an invoice - is this possible?
Yes! DrupalCon attendees can now generate their own invoices at checkout. Simply complete our registration process, and on the final payment page, select "Payment Method - Invoice". You will receive an email with instructions to pay your invoice via Paypal (credit card) or check.
I need a letter of invitation in order to obtain a Visa for travel to the United States
The Drupal Association is happy to issue an official letter of invitation to those attendees requesting one to obtain a visa for travel. We urge everyone that requires a Visa to travel to apply for the Visa as early as possible. Digital copies can be obtained within 48 hours of applying, but physical copies can take up to two weeks with shipping. You must be registered for DrupalCon prior to applying.
What forms of payment are accepted?
If you are paying through the site's Shopping Cart, you can use Visa, MasterCard or AmEx credit or debit cards at checkout. Alternately, if you have selected the "Pay by Invoice" option at checkout, you will receive instructions in which you can pay by check or via PayPal.
Is there private room for nursing mothers?
Yes! We have a small room reserved for nursing moms and parents who want a quiet spot to feed baby while attending DrupalCon. The room is located by the receptionist desk in the main administration office in the Oregon Convention Center. The room has refrigerator, power, and day-storage. The room will be locked during the day and is accessible by reservation only. To reserve and access the room, dial “0” on any house phone, or call 503.235.7575.
