In this session I'll discuss our experience at Tektronix and Fluke building our ability to develop, host, and support Drupal sites.

We brought Drupal in-house in 2010. We had significant web development experience, but very little experience with Drupal. Since then we've developed a dozen sites, from small to very complex. And along the way we've developed a set of pillars on which we've built a successful service:

* robust, shared infrastructure
* system administration support
* module and theme development skills
* a governance framework
* a menu of functionality and external services we can provide to our internal customers
* an environment in which our business customers can do their own development.
