Designing at the speed of sound: Rapid-fire prototyping production usable code

The church of the device has never been held under a bigger tent Now “design” is really a series of complex interactions and choices that play out over a cacophony of devices and screens. The traditional designer/developer process has become inefficient and is quickly becoming un-scalable. Creating static designs for multiple pages and multiple device widths isn't feasible for most real world projects due to budget, schedule, or both. Yet not accounting for these will cause significant problems when it comes time for implementation.

Learn how Phase2 is adapting it’s design & theming process to be more efficient in creating designs that work across multiple devices and formats. We will also discuss some ways we're making better use of these designs with less waist and rework. We’ll cover some of the challenges and benefits we’ve encountered using CSS frameworks such as Zurb Foundation and light weight development frameworks such as Sinatra. You will learn how these frameworks can benefit your project team and create deliverables of much higher value for your client.
