This presentation covers Facebook.com applications, and various ways your website can integrate with Facebook. Emphasis is on Drupal for Facebook, one of several Drupal modules that make such integration possible. The speaker is lead author and maintainer of that module.

Drupal for Facebook has been around since 2007, the pleistocene epoch of the Facebook Platform. The current release (version 3.x) retains some quirks for historical reasons. The next major release (version 4.x, under development) represents a massive code clean up, and upgrade to use only the most recent - and more stable - Facebook APIs.

In this session I'll demonstrate the next major release. I'll cover how to set up some of the most commonly requested Facebook-related features in Drupal 7.x. And touch on the ways the latest release of modules/fb improves on earlier releases.
