How to Train Your Agency: A Panel Discussion on Teaching Your Tech Partner to Speak EDU

Universities are from Mars, Agencies are from Venus.

With representatives from both sides of the relationship, we will discuss the unique challenges and opportunities that arise when higher education and the services industry meet. Some of the ideas we’ll explore include:

  • What makes for a great partnership between a higher education institution and a web agency?
  • What do universities want from their tech partners? What do agencies what from their EDU partners?
  • How can outside techies co-exist with embedded teams?

This session will give higher education institutions the inside scoop on building successful partnerships with web agencies (and vice versa).

This will be an important session as Drupal has really reached the tipping point in the Education space and though most institutions use internal resources, many of them utilize external web vendors to assist them with their web strategy. I'm looking forward to hearing some of the best practices from this experienced panel.

Drupal is such a dominant platform for higher ed. I want to see this topic.
