Managing Multi-lingual Content for Multi-Plaform Native Mobile Apps using Drupal

In this session, we demonstrate how Drupal is used as an easy to use, custom frontend to manage multi lingual content published and packaged in native mobile apps (including iOS and Android)--based on work performed for a large global financial services client. Native mobile source code managed (in GIT and Subversion) is accessed, and the editorial process managed through a custom site built in Drupal. Original English content and its multi-lingual (and culturally adapted) derivatives are stored and versioned in an open source Alfresco ECM repository that is integrated with Drupal through CMIS (Content Management Interoperability Services).

This solution represents a unique approach for easily managing content published in multi-platform native mobile apps, using the site building capabilities of Drupal and the power of open source backend integration.
