Recommending content: Strategies, Tools and Big Data Collection
In this talk we will cover some of the tools, algorithms, data collection techniques and considerations with dealing with content recommendations in Drupal.
It will look at:
Semantic Analysis
- Recommending related content based on the context (semantic analysis)
- Topic/theme based recommendations
Machine learning (aka collective intelligence)
- What data you need to capture to make recommendations based on preference
- What do you define as a preference
- User to user based recommendations
- Item to items based recommendations
- Anonymous user recommendations
- Big data, what tools are available when my data grows

This sounds like a great talk and also a new area for Drupal aka not the typical talk at a DrupalCon and very much in need for todays growing demand on Drupal in the enterprise looking forward to this one :D
