Register, pay and attend: making advanced event management easy with Drupal
There is no one right way to manage events, but some ways are easier than others. Nearly every site that needs to implement an event registration/management solution requires a slightly (or significantly) different process for handling events. Luckily, Drupal and a variety of contributed modules provide excellent building blocks that can be assembled into a solid event management system. Add in some rules and custom glue code and the options for customization are nearly endless.
This session will primarily focus on recipes for contributed modules that can be combined to enable functionality such as: paid event registrations, early bird pricing, member’s only events, waitlists, ticketing, tracking attendance and even integrating with a CRM such as Salesforce. The solutions presented are pulled from real-word working projects.
Attendees should be familiar with the basics of the Entity Registration and Commerce modules to get the most out of this session.

I will attend this session . . . I think the use case is pretty common and often the solutions don't do everything necessary before the event is over.

Thanks for the interest. Feel free to chime in with any specific use cases you're looking to address and I'll try to incorporate them (if the session is selected of course).

It's a shame this isn't scheduled. I'd really like to be in this session. Any chance for an informal one somewhere during the week?
