Reinventing the Proposal

Nobody likes proposals. Web companies hate them because they make commitments before all the information has been gathered. Customers don't like them because they're short on details and contain a lot of scary legalese. So let's reinvent the proposal.

This session will present alternative solutions for the standard development proposal. The proposal will be redefined as three distinct documents (Sales, Requirements, Contract) and show how to use these together to sell services and achieve better outcomes. We'll also discuss plain language contracts, open sourced legal documents and better ways to present estimates.

+1 - your summary has definitely piqued my interest. I am all for derailing the current process (i.e. RFPs) that most organizations use to evaluate Drupal service providers. I would suggest elaborating on who the target audience of your session is and why you feel this subject matter is important to cover.
