Leif Utne is a social technologist, journalist, musician and social entrepreneur. A passionate advocate for the open-source movement, when Leif isn’t on the clock as VP of Business Development at DrupalSquad and our parent company Warecorp, he is a tireless advocate for using commons-based approaches to solving societal problems. Prior to joining us, he led marketing and sales for a variety of online media startups, including QuantumShift TV and Worldchanging.com, and spent eight years as online editor at Utne Reader magazine. He is a board member of The UpTake, an award-winning online video citizen journalism network. He lives on Bainbridge Island, near Seattle, Washington. His super power: jazz flute
