Paul Mackay is a Code for Europe Fellow working at Nesta, the UK's innovation charity. This includes a focus on increasing collaboration, sharing and reuse of civic software within the Code for Europe program and more generally in the UK and Europe. He has been a contributor to the Open Outreach distribution for non-profits and has developed a number of community websites. He recently co-founded Folk Labs, a company focussed on building software to support local communities. His earlier career involved mobile software development for Dorling Kindersley, Nokia and Symbian.

Paul is currently contributing to the development of the OpenCivic distribution. An instance of this will be launched as an apps catalog for Europe.
